A WEEK OF MALCOLM: Celebrating one of America’s greatest minds of all time.
Today, May 19th, marks the birthday of Malcolm X. To commemorate brother Malcolm, I am doing an internet discourse for the entire week titled: “A WEEK OF MALCOLM: Celebrating one of America’s greatest minds of all time.” Malcolm X is often designated to Black quarters in our social mind, but I contest that Malcolm X and his mind was a beautiful and genius gift to the United States that the nation failed to embrace and tap into. His eloquence and powerful analysis was sincere, his fervor warranted. Malcolm, a giant, was murdered in cold blood at the young age of 39 years old. Who knows how him and his message, still in it’s infancy at the time of his death, would have evolved. Of course we wonder what Malcolm’s opinion of today’s world would be. Throughout the week I’ll be releasing videos of me as Malcolm, aligning his speeches with social ills of today. Sadly, Malcolm’s words are hauntingly prophetic even decades after his death. Please join me in sharing and giving your opinion to the articles, conversations, images, and videos that will make up this discourse.
Happy 89th Birthday Brother Malcolm!
